Workday Data & Integration Specialist

Project description

We are looking for an experienced Workday Data & Integration Specialist to support a large-scale enterprise Workday transformation initiative.

In this role, you will design and develop Workday reports (RaaS), build data extraction and integration solutions, support source-to-target mapping activities, and collaborate with BI and Data teams to enable enterprise reporting and analytics.

Duration: 3–8 months (depending on experience and module expertise)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Workday reports (RaaS) for BI and analytics consumption.
• Build and support Workday integrations using web services, EIBs, and other integration tools.
• Extract and model data across Workday Finance, HCM, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, Learning, and related modules.
• Collaborate with BI and Data teams to ensure accurate and scalable data delivery into reporting platforms and data warehouses.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, calculated fields, and integration processes.

Requirements

Location: Remote Anywhere

• 4+ years of Workday reporting and integration experience
• Strong expertise with Workday Report Writer, RaaS, EIB, Workday Studio, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Experience with Workday Finance modules (HCM experience is a plus)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and source-to-target mapping
• Experience supporting BI, reporting, or data migration initiatives
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Workday Pro Certification
• Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, or Prism Analytics experience
• Experience with large enterprise Workday implementations
