Project description
The project covers development of applications and APIs for media players — the digital screens used in cafés, restaurants, and retail stores.
Fully remote and long-term cooperation.
Responsibilities
The work spans the full stack: the frontend that renders on the screen, and the Node APIs and databases that feed it content, handle configuration, and keep every player in sync.
Requirements
Location: Remote Anywhere
Core stack — must have
- JavaScript — deep, not surface-level: async/await, promises, event loop, closures, prototypes, ES modules. This is the primary bar.
- React — hooks, state management, component architecture, performance basics (re-renders, memoization)
- Vue.js — working proficiency; able to pick up and maintain existing Vue code
- HTML/CSS layout — Flexbox and CSS Grid to a confident level, responsive layouts
- TypeScript — expected in a modern React/Vue codebase
English B2+
Backend / API — must have (not a bonus)
- Node.js — building and maintaining REST APIs, not just consuming them
- Databases — able to read a schema, write queries, understand relations and indexes
- Server access — comfortable connecting to a server, reading logs, restarting a service, basic debugging in a live environment
- NestJS — strongly preferred
AI tooling
- Writing effective prompts; hands-on with Claude and similar assistants
- Understanding of AI security basics: what not to paste into a model, prompt injection, handling client data and secrets, reviewing AI-generated code before it ships
Process & tools
- Self-testing — tests own work before handing it off; writes unit/component tests
- Figma — reads designs, pulls specs, works from handoff without constant clarification
- Jira / ClickUp — task hygiene, estimates, status updates
