Gartner, Inc. has identified the Top 30 countries for globally sourced activities in 2010-2011 including Ukraine with score "good".

Gartner, Inc. named the Top 30 locations for offshore outsourcing activities in 2010-2011. Each location has a score according to various criteria. 8 new countries appeared in the Top 30 comparing to the last research. Numerous organizations across the globe are challenged to determine the trusted lower-cost partner to host their offshore operations with minimum risk.

"This year the Top 30 countries are exclusively emerging nations," Ian Marriott, research VP at Gartner Inc. commented. "As the pace of change is slower in developed countries we have chosen to focus on those locations that are still maturing and developing, domestically and internationally."

The constituent criteria of the final score were the following:

- labor pool
- cost
- educational system
- language
- government support
- infrastructure
- data and intellectual property security and privacy
- political and economic environment
- cultural compatibility
- global and legal maturity

Ukraine combines the unique qualified labor pool and educational base with low cost of labor and excellent cultural compatibility. This makes Ukraine one of the leading countries for offshore business processes outsourcing, especially in IT field.
